I love mayo. I put in on both slices of bread in my sandwiches. But as I am truly open minded, as only a conservative can be, I love AnthonyHatesMayo too. I'm glad that he is here. I hope more PLB folks will follow him to Political Questions.
The Writer Formerly Known as AHM is simply the best!
Now let’s get Mrs. Cossack on here and I’ll put a crowbar in my wallet and become a paid subscriber (unlike my old favorite blog which saw fit to exclude me and hundreds of friends ).
Judging by the comment counts on Powerline Blog since the paywall went into effect, like Spinal Tap, it has succeeded in making its appeal more selective. On the other hand, it is probably bringing in more money, so there is that.
What are the odds someone I miss from Power Line would show up on the only Substack to which I’m a paid subscriber? Pretty good actually since the other PL refugees are the reason I’m here. you have made my day, Anthony. -Uffdaphil
Great to see Anthony here! I’m hoping to see a weekly post from him — it doesn’t always have to be funny. Thoughts and commentary from him would be most welcome.
Hey mayo- hater! I rather like the screenplay style. It works in a mysterious way. And I adoooore mayo. Can one have two such emotional attachments simultaneously?
Definitely a controlled-implosion happening at PLB. I do miss the gang ups on Paul -- it always had a cruel, tough playground feel -- but was always well deserved. But not enough to contemplate paying for the privilege.
PLB has reached its Ecclesiastes 3:1 moment. "To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven."
The lesson learned is always treat your Memester-in-Chief talent as you would a rock star on tour.
Welcome, Anthony! An entirely worthy first post, with many more to come!
I missed Anthony on Powerline, so to console myself I had a stacked chicken sandwich slathered in....
Cue Harry Belafonte singing "Mayo, mayo..."

The ultimate pizza: pineapple with mayo?
Well I do love mayo, but there are limits!
Only if you are contemplating suicide right after eating that atrocity!

Rumor has it she has come into possession of a new M-109 and is busy studying the owners manual.

PLB's loss is PQ's gain. Glad to see you here!
I call movie rights. And toys. I want toys too.

That was hilarious, and I'm only on my 2nd Jameson (so, relatively sober). Thanks for sharing and bringing him on Steve!

Anthony, your posts are always worth the time to read. Thank you for posting on this site.

Good to see AnthonyHatesMayo here. And it's good to see he is still pretty much a wiseass.
I like mayo. But its down on my condiment list.
Great news! Now we know why AHM began withdrawing from the soon-to-be-gone (if it stays on its present course) PLB.
