That was the best comment so far in 2025 to a Steven Hayward blog post. Just like the Kamala podcast, someone should have intervened as Steve was uploading those culinary pics. Where is Lucretia when we really need her?

I hope no vegan heads exploded in the process of making your bacon explosion, Steve. And I hope you had help eating it. There's probably a week's worth of fat calories in that thing.

It has always seemed ironic that the "Greens" think carbon dioxide is a pollutant. They sit around a crackling campfire at their Eco Retreat, oblivious to the fact that the carbon in the wood they burn was pulled from the air, not the ground. More carbon dioxide helps plants thrive. The whole climate hoax depends on public ignorance of something as simple as plant respiration. Fossil fuels rule.

Non-leftist Brits noticed - and are more concerned about - another component of the "Bob Vylan" set: "you [native British] aren't getting your country back". It's all of a piece, but the native, dare I say "real", Brits have endured a gradual erasure for about 30 years, but now a critical mass of opposition appears to be forming. It is looking like a real possibility that neither the Conservatives nor Labour will have the plurality of seats at the next election.

I make it Canadian Bacon, Chuck. Still not on blood pressure meds at 80. Had to serve as an example for my patients. How about a Crestor tab?

My wife’s cousin in WI is a BLACKSTONE grill fanatic. Seems they use it for breakfast and dinner most days. Someone should make a comedic theme video on the topic. Oh wait!

I love bacon, and I love sausage of nearly all kinds. But, really, Steve! That morning explosion could end up in your waistline. Even I had to swallow twice on this one.

Sausage depends entirely on what else (especially spices) they put in it. I'm not generally a sausage fan but there are some that are acceptable.

I am not buying all this nonsense about the supposed "Deporter In Chief", Hussein Soetero. What was actually being counted as "deported"? Another question that should be pondered is what kind of "migrant" was allowed to stay here in the US? Soetero hated (and hates) the US and it is hard to believe he did anything that would increase its security and accrue to its benefit.

My recollection too was that his administration counted as "deported" people they refused to allow to cross the border. His "deportees" hadn't all made it into the country when they got "deported."
