When Simon won a Grammy for Still Crazy, he thanked Stevie Wonder for not releasing an album in 1975. Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, Carole King - the mid-70s were good for singer/songwriters.

More than a decade later, the album Graceland was brilliant, but widely criticized in the industry over "artistic" differences (read as "money").

Simon's sudden hearing loss is a tragedy.

Excellent. And for those with access, there is an interesting documentary called "In Restless Dreams: The Music of Paul Simon" available for streaming on MGM Streaming. Wynton Marsalis makes his personal (but not his musical) presence felt.

I just heard on the radio “How Long Can you Run That Body Down? “from 1972 for the first time in decades. I enjoyed it tremendously and then, when I got home, I saw Lloyd’s post. Karma?
