I am always curious if the people nestled snuggly in these dens of absurdity actually take this stuff seriously, or do they sit back and laugh at the fact that they get money grants to write this blather. Or put another way, who is actually getting pranked by this BS?

The Annie Sprinkle? I'm sure her academic credentials are "interesting".

Should we start a Go Fund Me to raise the $292 for Steve? I think these posts are really a cry out by Steve that he wants to explore New horizons for his identity...

The taxpayers of the State of California are funding these people. This is why I left and haven't looked back.

"Peak absurdity" is more than simple foolishness, it is deliberate nonsense designed to perpetuate funding and discourage audits of same. What sane administrator would read such blather and then argue with the authors about it? Assuming there are any sane administrators left, which is doubtful.

More proof that the only reason DEI exists is so that stupid, lazy, self-centered people can have high-paying jobs.

Steve, you gave us the background on Stephens but missed a bet on Annie Sprinkle's story. Take a look at the article on Wickipedia for the rest of the story.

If memory serves, "Annie Sprinkle" earned her name due to her predilection for golden showers. So now she is in academia? I am surprised she is out in California as she would seem to be right at home on any Ivy League campus.
