The fragility of left wing pseudo intellectuals is but one side of a counterfeit coin. The other side, which is equally important in evaluating the far left of center mind set, is that their basic philosophy is more fantasy than reality.

Their dialectic has a history of failure, unparalleled in the history of the planet. It ignores true scientific values, human nature, and common sense. So, when the marxists (the folks we are actually talking about here) gain power, install their system, and inevitably fail, the marxists lash out at the folks who they blame for the failure. This is one reason, along with their basic psychosis, that they immediately resort to violence in retaliation for the failures.

"...intellectually and professionally insecure..."

Walsh's documentary has shown that it is all for money. You could throw an "inadequate" or two into that sentence, almost anywhere, but not when it involves compensation. Turns out that woke pays. See previous comment re: race hustlers.

I've often thought that today's "progressives" remind me of the Conservatives I rebelled against in the 1950's and 60's. They too had lost touch with why they believed what they believe and had lost the ability to reason logically. "Racist" is the new "Commie."

Is there anything more illustrative of “the audacity of coke” than Freud popularizing projection & putting forth the Oedipal complex? That man was considered foundational to psychology for such a while, out of sheer gull perhaps.

Projection on the left is manifest in many ways and clearly evident in the University and media. I find it especially true in the "soft" sciences. In the hard sciences the fact of failure is always present and the finding of new truths ( the science is never settled) leads to stronger egos. Personally after successfully graduating with a degree in Biology and Chemistry I followed a career in a dental specialty that insured that if my patient lived long enough my work would fail. The question always asked is how long until the failure. Could a sociologist or woman's study professor withstand any failure?
