Steve,

Steady as she goes, you are in Trump land now and he is negotiating the biggest real estate deal in history under Trump Rules (chaos). Donald J. Trump is the Napoleon of negotiations — he lies, he cheats, he changes positions, he threatens, he maneuvers, he fakes, he name calls, he dismisses, he praises, he reverses direction, he dishonors promises, … he is total chaos, with a capital K.

The two rules of interpreting President Donald J. Trump:

1. ”Don’t take Trump literally, take him seriously.” — Selena Zito

2. “Don’t look at what Trump does, look at his goal.” — James Madison

Eye on the tiger (target).

I read several biographies when researching my book, Henry Scott, Third Duke of Buccleuch, as Adam Smith is a major character, as are David Hume, Voltaire, and other 18th century luminaries. I found the best Adam Smith biography was John Rae's 1895 "Life of Adam Smith." A subsequent English biographer of Smith, Francis W. Hirst, in 1904 prefaced his effort with, "Rae's comprehensive research cropped the ground so close that little seemed left for his successors to glean." I found that to be true, and Rae's book remains my favorite.

Bravo on the showerhead order, now do the rest of our household appliances and the incandescent lightbulb. Absolutely none of them - clothes washers, dryers, dishwashers, nothing - work as well as the models of 30-40 years ago. And it's not just Dems to blame, the Uniparty let it happen.

What I wouldn't give to have Mom's kitchen appliances back. Even in sunburst yellow or avocado.

I saw this chart when Trump was running the table of the 2016 Republican nomination. A picture can be worth 1000 Henry Olsen words. (No slam intended.). Keep in mind Europe working class is a part of the 'they got screwed on trade' cohort.

It's equivalent to the Bonaparte infographic of the 1812 invasion and retreat
