On Thursday Sen. Alex Padilla crashed a Kristi Noem press conference and security had to push him away. As Sir Bedevire (Terry Jones) might say, who is this who is so hostile to the DHS secretary? Padilla is not, as he is often described, the first Latino elected to represent California in the U.S. Senate. The California Democrat is the senator nobody voted for.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom appointed Padilla to replace Kamala Harris, Joe Biden’s pick for a running mate. Before that Padilla was a state senator and California secretary of state. In that role Padilla championed mail-in voting, in-person early voting, automatic voter registration and same-day voter registration, all of which facilitate voter fraud.
When illegal aliens get driver’s licenses, the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) automatically registers them to vote. In 2015, Padilla told the Los Angeles Times, “at the latest, for the 2018 election cycle, I expect millions of new voters on the rolls in the state of California.” After Trump’s victory in 2016, Padilla refused to participate in the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity. By March, 2018, the DMV had given licenses to more than one million illegals. Padilla wouldn’t say how many illegals voted in 2018, but his reference to “millions” provides a ballpark figure.
Joe Biden greenlighted the entry of more than 10 million illegals, with no criminal background checks, health records and other safeguards. Biden gave the settlers government-issued ID cards and scattered them about the country at taxpayer expense. The senator nobody voted for has a plan for them.
Padilla wants the Treasury Department to register “limited English” voters at federally funded tax-preparation centers. From DMV to IRS, an expansion of California’s imported electorate nationwide. Trouble is, Trump is now deporting the illegals and Padilla can’t deal with it. Earlier this year, Padilla went after Pam Bondi, claiming that charges of election fraud were the “big lie,” and Newsom’s vote-fraud boss now harasses Kristi Noem. Speaking of the coiffed one, here’s something for all you economists, math majors, and statisticians to ponder.
In the 2018 election for governor, Gavin Newsom got 61.9 percent of the vote. In 2020, Gov. Newsom imposed the most rigid lockdowns of any state, arresting people for going to the beach, shutting down “non-essential” businesses – except his own wineries and such. After wildfires torched vast areas of the state, Newsom said “the hots are getting hotter, the dries are getting drier… something happened to the plumbing of the world. Climate change is real and exacerbating this.” And so on, as bad as it gets.
The people gathered signatures for a recall and in 2021, Gov. Newsom got 61.9 percent of the vote – the same percentage as 2018, supposedly without a hint of voter fraud. This is what Democrats want on a national scale, an imported electorate insuring permanent one-party rule. So no surprise that Trump’s deportations have them rushing to the barricades.
I'll add another motive for Democrat hysteria and Padilla's cheap stunt. Without their illegal aliens, Democrats would have far fewer House seats and electoral votes. They'd recede to a weak minority party on the national level. As a loyal beneficiary of the Democrat Criminal Enterprise, Padilla naturally objects to any measure which threatens to reduce the base of their national power.
I also suspect Democrat coordination with the government and cartels of Mexico, which are pretty much the same thing
Expect more violence from Padilla and others like him.
Since Washington State's fraudulent 2004 Gubernatorial election, we've become a one-party state as well, with mail ballots, flexible voting dates, poorly maintained voter rolls, and little effort to signature match. After a few cycles of this, good Republican candidates are hard to recruit.
