I try to ration my attention to academic absurdities and tendentious scholarship, because it could consume all your time 24/7. But sometimes a new effort deserves recognition. Previously I thought no one could top the 2016 paper on “feminist glaciology,” but the latest edition of Feminist Theory offers us this:
So, pregnancy is “not to be defined by biological phenomena.” I thought denying biology was being anti-science.
The article is behind a paywall at Sage Publishing—yours for only $37.50!!)—but the redoubtable Colin Wright has pierced the veil and offers more from the internals of the article in this Twitter/X thread. The last sentence of this excerpt may be my favorite part:

Everyone knows this is junk. Why won’t college administrators put an end to it?

One has to admire the teeth-gritting determination of people in this particular worldview to ignore reality at all costs. Perhaps Carlos could take the topic on in "their" next "sage" article; I'm sure there is much to explore here.
