The generation and distribution of electricity, like everything else in engineering, has technical intricacies that are not appreciated by fools like Al Gore or Greta Thunberg or politicians who sympathize with them.

This massive self-goal is what happens when 50 years of ignorant politicians are let loose on a highly technical issue.

Ive always dreamed of living off grid. But it does seem like a lot of work. On the other hand, it would probably keep me from spending so much time commenting on substack. Lifes all about tradeoffs🤷🏼‍♂️

Mr. Hayward, I am perplexed by your use of the word ‘telos’ in the sub-head, since I am sure you know its meaning—desired end as opposed to what actually happened. What actually happened was not the telos of net zero.

There is only one solution, each Spanish household needs a decent gas generator as a backup. Noisy, but reliable in an emergency.
