Churchill Vindicated Again
Turns out he was right about being a "glow-worm"
One of the more famous quips a young Churchill made supposedly over a formal dinner table (as recorded by Violet Bonham-Carter) is: “Curse ruthless time! Curse our mortality. How cruelly short is the allotted span for all we must cram into it! We are all worms. But I do believe I am a glow worm.”
Turns out modern science has proved him literally correct. From Science Alert today:

Count me skeptical, though, that modern science can literally vindicate this one:
Steve, Biophoton emission is the ultra-weak light emitted spontaneously by all living organisms, including humans. This light is typically in the ultraviolet (UV) to visible spectrum (200–800 nm), but it is far too faint to be seen by the naked eye. The mechanism of biophoton creation and emission is primarily linked to oxidative metabolic processes within cells. Upon cell death, the oxidative process ends and thus so too does biophoton emission stop. Its a real thing, but not a spiritual one. Not to say there aren't spiritual elements to human and plant life, just saying biophoton emission isn't from any spiritual element.
