Back to Our Regular Podcast Programming
From Greenland to Virginia, We've Got You Covered
It’s back to a regular two-podcast Saturday morning, with both the Ricochet podcast and the Three Whisky Happy Hour on tap.
Poor James Lileks managed to host the Ricochet podcast taping Friday in -14 degree weather (no, he wasn’t outside in his long johns), while Charles C.W. Cooke and I luxuriated in our warm coastal abodes. We do a review of Trump’s first year in office, and spar a bit about how to understand the endgame of the Greenland Gambit and Trump stomping on the Davoise at the World Economic. As usual, listen or download here, or from your favorite podcast purveyor (while of course leaving a five-star review):
Then on to the Three Whisky Happy Hour, where we had a lot of interesting legal questions this week for rotating host John Yoo, and we don't even get through all of them (can you believe Lucretia actually passed up the chance to dunk on her "favorite" Justice KBJ for this week's embarrassment at the Court!), because we move directly to the question of whether Gov. Spanberger and Virginia are a canary in a coal mine of a Progressive mine-shaft explosion. Holy-moly!
And I think it isn't too soon to begin thinking about what "New Right 5.0" after Trump is going to look like.
Exit music today from Cosigner, which we are thinking of making the official bumper music band for the 3WHH, since the lead singer and motive force of the band is a certified conservative and listener to this podcast. Let us know if you approve.
As before, listen or down here, or from your favorite podcast source:
And for those who like to take in the video version, here is the raw file (and yes, that is Laphroaig I am swilling):

Let's see if I have the correct terminology: I'm down with Cosigner.
Spanberger was only a moderate to those who didn't listen to what she said while she was running. She absolutely advertised her moves in advance.
