Steve's got it right about Dowd the "housebroken Republican." MSNBC kept him there as useful cover for their fascist left commentary. That's also why they dumped him so fast; they can replace him easily with another fake "Republican" shill.

Jeff Flake please answer the phone

As an Arizonan, I am appalled at your disrespect for that shill, Flake.

Perhaps I can upset the Illinois folks. Adam Kinzinger please answer the phone

Sorry--I was born in Illinois.

Maybe Ana Navarro is available.

Matthew Dowd is the kind of fake Republican loved by the mainstream media. He attacks any real conservative position, but hides behind his fake Republican identity. At least he used to claim to be Republican. Maybe he has dropped that pretense by now, and gone the way of Bill Kristol.

I love the comment by Steve about dowd . yes what a lightweight but apparently a lightweight lady’s man ( go figure). He betrayed his family & the terminator and family.

“The Kennedy heiress was sleeping with her husband’s lead campaign strategist (dowd) well before Schwarzenegger’s old affair with their housekeeper came to light, campaign staffers and other sources told The Post.”

Never hesrd thst until now. All of our ruling elites seem to be s***.

Maria clearly had no standards.

So Dowd is a womanizer? Who knew? He certainly doesn't look the part. He must have more behind his zipper than he has above the neck.

Liberal women like men like men like Dowd and keep his manly bits in their handbags.

Looking at liberal women I suppose they deserve each other

My spayed dog wouldn't find him attractive. But she loves to nuzzle me. However...never mind.

Matthew Dowd - I thought that was an image of an older, more 'mature' and less plump Brian Stelter ...

Don't mince words, Steve, tell us how your really feel about Dowd. Are you channeling 'Lucretia?'

When people of Dowd's strain say things like:“come together and condemn violence of any kind.” what they are really saying is let us justify leftwing violence because of X. X being racism, homophobia, anti trans, anti Islam, poverty, being disrespected, etc, fill in the blank with the reason of your choice. On the other hand they condemn any actions or statements by people on the right, (translation being people they disagree with) whether it is protests, parades, or saying I disagree with you as rightwing violence. Which in turn justifies the leftwing being violent against them. If Silence is Violence, and words can be hurtful (hurtful being the modern equivalence of violence in left speak) then violence is justified. Or in other words: You made me do this, so It's all your fault, not mine.

I also suspect that Dowd will basically say whatever the people who pay him want him to say. The bottom line is the bottom line.

Dowd has now said, he wants to use his platform on substack to bring people together.

The FBI is worthless. Kash and Dan are in above their heads. The Shrubs are grifters. Google their grandfather Prescott Bush.

Sadly, the lawsuits on many of these firings are all going to go one way - and very few, if any, of the organizations now publically firing scum like Dowd for the PR brownee points will maintain their sense of outrage during settlement and reinstatement negotiations.

See my comment below.

Nope. They all have standard MSM contracts, which allow firing for bringing "public oprobrium" on their employers.
